Where We Get Personal Information From

  • People directly

Our Website

Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages are read. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and uses no identifier, so visits cannot be linked to each other or to you. We do not use Google Analytics or any equivalent, and no advertising or marketing tags run on this site. Cloudflare acts as our processor and does not combine this information with data from other sites it works with. You can switch analytics off at any time on our Privacy & analytics settings page, which always shows the current position.

Server access logs. Our website is hosted by Amazon Web Services, whose servers keep access logs. These can include your IP address, the page requested, the time of the request and your browser's user agent string. We use them only to keep the site secure and available and to investigate faults. They are not used for analytics, marketing or profiling, and are not combined with any other information we hold. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests, specifically our interest in the security and reliability of the service, which we consider does not override your rights because the information is used only to operate the site.

Features that involve another company. Two features send information to a provider, and only when you choose to use them. If you start a live chat, your messages and IP address go to HubSpot, our customer messaging provider, which may store cookies on your device. If you join the waitlist, your details go to Mailchimp, which may store a cookie on your device for up to one year. We tell you this before you use either feature. If you use neither, neither company receives anything about you. Both act on our instructions as processors.

Contact form. Enquiries submitted through the contact form are sent to HubSpot, which we use to manage enquiries. This stores nothing on your device.

How Long We Keep Information

We will only keep your personal information for as long as is necessary for the uses set out in this privacy notice. When we have no ongoing business need to process your personal information, we will either delete it or anonymise it. For more information, see our full retention policy.

Website server access logs are kept for no longer than we need them to investigate security issues and faults, and are then deleted. We do not retain them for analysis or reporting.

  • Your right to withdraw consent — When we use consent as our lawful basis you have the right to withdraw your consent.

You don't usually need to pay a fee to exercise your rights. If you make a request, we have one calendar month to respond to you.
